Kate Owen-King is an associate lawyer with Purser Dooley Cockburn Smith. Kate’s
practice includes commercial litigation, contractual disputes, construction litigation,
employment law, shareholder disputes, and creditors’ remedies.
Kate was born and raised in Simcoe County. She obtained her Honours Bachelor
of Arts from the University of Toronto, majoring in Anthropology, with minors in
English and History. Kate attended law school at the University of British
Columbia in Vancouver, and was called to the bar in 2006.
Kate enjoys reading fiction, art, travelling within Canada and cycling.
She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates Society, and the
Simcoe County Youbg Professionals Association.
